The top truffle dishes in Abu Dhabi

Truffles make everything better

If we had our way, we would put truffles on everything. Given the number of appearances truffles make on menus across the capital, we think that chefs and diners would agree. Truffles might have a very distinct taste, but they seems to work in any dish, whether it is a delicious pizza or a comforting risotto. And you can never go wrong with truffles and pasta. Truffles make any meal a little, okay, a lot fancier given that they are one of the most expensive foods in the world. Who would have thought a humble, hard-to-grow fungus could be so special?

Thankfully the brilliant chefs in Abu Dhabi definitely did, and they’re incorporating truffles into these tempting dishes. Enjoy.

Black Truffle Pizza at Market Kitchen

A slice of Margherita is delicious, but it’s a special kind of bougie experience eating truffles on a pizza, especially when the black truffles are paired with fontina cheese and frisée lettuce. Try a piece of the fancy ‘za for yourself. It’s a signature.

Dino’s Funghi Risotto at Dino’s Bistro Italiano

Wild mushrooms, black truffle and Parmigiano Reggiano complete this creamy risotto. The vegetarian dish is great for sharing – but you will not want to. The funghi risotto is a signature of Dino’s for a very good reason, and the truffles are definitely part of it.

Alba Pizza at Alba Terrace

Alba Terrace’s signature pizza is served fresh from a wood-fired pizza oven and topped with ricotta, mozzarella, button onions, spinach and truffles, of course. Yum. Enjoy it as part of the à la carte lunch and dinner menus daily, as well as at Friday and Saturday brunches, and the Social Lunch.’

Do you adore cheese? Cannot get enough of anything truffle? Make sure to order the handmade truffle linguine at The Beach House. It is as beautiful as the Saadiyat Beach views from the restaurant. A plump burrata di bufala is showered with black truffle butter and baby spinach.
