Paradiso by Pierre Gagnaire and Nicole Rubi to open at Yas Bay Abu Dhabi

Famed chef and founder of LPM Restaurant & Bar to bring their Cannes eatery to the UAE capital

Abu Dhabi’s food scene is about to get a huge injection of newcomers at Yas Bay, and the list of world-class names just keeps growing.

And we mean world-class.

From legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire and the woman behind La Petite Maison Nice, Nicole Rubi, Paradiso is perhaps the biggest name to be announced for the 20-strong line-up of Yas Bay Waterfront restaurant and bars. Renowned in Cannes, where the original opened in 2020, the restaurant’s Abu Dhabi outpost is being described by its owners as “a refreshing new face on Yas Island”, featuring a menu that promises simplistic, generous cooking from its chefs, who will bring a taste of the Mediterranean to the UAE.

Also newly announced to join the line-up of restaurants is Hunter and Barrel, an Australian, fire-inspired restaurant with a focus on charcoal-roasted meats and vegetables.

The two new names join a list of restaurants already announced including: modern Japanese Akiba Dori; Mediterranean café-meets-store The Lighthouse; Bushra, Buddha-Bar; Siddartha Lounge; La Carnita; Lock, Stock & Barrel; Asia Asia; The Central; and Zeera.

According to developer Miral, more than 50 percent of the 20 F&B and five retail and leisure spaces are now leased, with the complex said to be soon-to-open.

Located a five-minute drive from Yas Island’s main attractions, Yas Bay will be spread out across three distinct areas – The Waterfront, Residences at Yas Bay, and Yas Creative Hub – over 14 million sq ft, and is anticipated to become home to 15,000 residents.
