Get a taste of summer with this new menu at Paradiso Yas Bay

Expect tasty dishes from the French Riviera and the Mediterranean

If you’ve been dreaming about a trip to Cannes this summer, we might just have found the next best thing.

Paradiso Yas Bay is launching a new menu of Mediterranean dishes for the summer, and you can order some seriously good French and Italian plates right now.

In case you haven’t visited Paradiso before, the eatery is helmed by culinary whizzes chef Pierre Gagnaire, who earned himself a three Michelin star rating at his eponymous restaurant in Paris, and chef Nicole Rubi, the genius (and we mean genius) behind La Petite Maison.

Gagnaire and Rubi became pals while working at the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, and went on to launch the first Paradiso in Cannes in 2020, before it made its way to our shores at Yas Bay Waterfront in Abu Dhabi late last year.

The new menu is all about bringing the flavours of the French Riviera and Mediterranean basin to Abu Dhabi. Start with a hot appetiser such as grilled octopus with eggplant caviar or tomato soup with roasted ricotta and rosemary. Yum.

Keep cool with cold appetisers like veal slices slowly cooked with tuna sauce, roasted chicken breast Caesar salad, and other summer-inspired creations.

Main courses include authentic Italian pastas such as roasted potato gnocchi with parmesan cream, eggplant ravioli with pecorino and penne pasta with cured fish egg and lemon.

Seafood fans will love the sole meuniere with grilled white mushrooms, mashed potatoes with curcuma, or the salmon filet with virgine sauce.

Plus, meat eaters can get their chops around grilled rib eye with crushed black pepper jus or chicken breast with roasted red pepper.

Paradiso Yas Bay is also serving a selection of new desserts designed by executive pastry chef Hugo Sipp and artistic mixed drinks by mixologist and botanist Emanuele Balestra.

We’ll be taking up residency at Yas Bay Waterfront’s Pier 71 this summer, that’s for sure.
Prices vary. Open Sun-Thu noon-11pm; Fri-Sat noon-11.30pm. Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Island, yasbay.ae (050 437 2869).
