6 things to do with the kids this weekend

Neon nights, Jamaican food, art exhibitions and more

If you’re wondering what to do with the kids this weekend, don’t fret. There’s plenty of incredible things to do in Abu Dhabi even as the temperature rises.

Celebrate international falafel day

Saturday June 12 is international falafel day – as if we need an excuse to eat more falafel. What better day to take the kids out to try this tasty vegetarian fritter for dinner? Stop by one of Abu Dhabi’s favourite Lebanese restaurants, Zahrat Lebnan, for falafel, hummus, fattoush salad, lentil soup, kebabs and more. It’s the perfect dinner to have family-style.

With stunning views of Yas Island, comfortable seating, and a kid-friendly atmosphere, it’s a great place to take the whole family. Jamaican beef patties are usually a big hit with kids, and they’ll love the mess and fun of getting stuck into jerk barbeque wings or jerk chicken.
