E-scooters are popping up left right and centre in Abu Dhabi, with companies like Lime and Circ making the zippy vehicles available.
Lime has 300 e-scooters along the 8km stretch of the Corniche and with the group ride feature you can unlock up to five e-scooters at a time.
All you need to do is download the mobile app and register your details.
The free app is available on all devices and you can use it to find scooters, unlock them and pay for your ride.
Unlocking a Lime scooter costs Dhs3 and every minute of ride-time will cost you Dhs1.
“Now with our new Group Ride feature, many of our Lime riders can easily and safely share the joys and benefits of sustainable, accessible micro-mobility with their friends and family members,” said Mohamad Nsouli, general manager of Lime in the UAE.
“We believe this feature will simplify the experience for prospective riders looking to try our scooters.”
