Abu Dhabi drivers have been reminded of the rules of the road by the capital’s police force.
Anyone who uses taxi and bus lanes can be issued with fines of Dhs400 per offence.
Extra patrols will be in place around the city to clamp down on anyone breaking the law.

Back in August, Abu Dhabi Police announced that drivers can pay off their traffic fines in installments without paying any interest.
Drivers in the UAE capital and visiting Abu Dhabi will also have to prepare for the launch of Abu Dhabi’s toll gate system.
In March it was announced that the toll gates would remain free for all drivers until the end of 2020.
