Plant-based eaters no longer have to worry about being left hungry when boarding an Emirates flight.
The Dubai-based airline is now serving up a 100 percent vegan menu to passengers across all cabin classes.
Don’t expect a lacklustre menu (there won’t be a wilting lettuce leaf in sight) as you eat in the air.

Handcrafted dishes available include pan-roasted king oyster mushrooms, jackfruit biryani and sliced kohlrabi garnished with burnt orange.
Those who love to end on a sweet note will be impressed with the dessert choices.
Included on the menu is chocolate truffle cake with hazelnut, pistachio and gold leaf, or green grape tart adorned with candied rose petals, vanilla custard, and berry compote and yuzu pearls. They look pretty Instagrammable to us.
A word of warning, if you are after the vegan offerings when high in the sky you must make sure you pre-order before getting to the airport.
It’s no surprise that the popular airline is leading the way on the menu front as Emirates is always in the fast lane when it comes to passenger experiences, which has recently been highlighted with the unveiling of its new premium economy class.
Premium economy rolled out on August 1 and is available on flights to London, Paris and Sydney.
