Manchester City’s Global Trophy Tour heads to Abu Dhabi

Are you a Manchester City super fan? Manchester City’s global “Trophy Tour” is making a return to the UAE, and will be accompanied by club legend Aleksandar Kolarov.

In celebration of the club’s incredible Premier League victory, and the fourth title win in five years, Manchester City are taking the Premier League trophy back on the road to meet fans in Abu Dhabi.

The Trophy Tour also includes a huge football festival in Abu Dhabi, which will also screen a fixture against Brighton on October 22.

Manchester City’s Trophy Tour has so far visited fans in France, Spain, Mexico and Norway, with stops in South Africa, Japan and Korea still to go.

The Trophy Tour event will be held at Abu Dhabi’s Mamsha Al Saadiyat, where footie fans will have the chance to enjoy multiple activities, including creating a 360-degree video with the premier league trophy and becoming part of their dream 5-a-side team in augmented reality.

The day time festival will give adults and children the opportunity to meet football legend Aleks Kolarov, as well as take part in beach football with City Football School coaches.

The Trophy Tour football festival kicks off from 12pm to 8pm, and fans will have access to the event on a first come first serve basis, so if you want to be in with a chance to create a 360-degree video with the Premier League trophy and meet Kolarov, you ought to get there early.

Official City mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam will also be there to join supporters for the build up to the game, and keep the kids occupied.

Bringing kids along with you? Young footie fans can enjoy a variety of activities on the day, including face painting, the chance to win exclusive prizes and even a live performance from the Middle East’s best footballing freestyler, Ammar Freez.
