6 things to do at Expo 2020 Dubai before it ends

HOW have we arrived at the final week of Expo 2020 Dubai? Time flies when you’re having fun.

But the fun isn’t over just yet, here are six things to do at Expo 2020 before it officially comes to an end on Thursday March 31.

Blippi’s Dance Party

If you have kids, you are probably already well-acquainted with the character that is Blippi. Throughout the last week of Expo 2020, Blippi will be hitting multiple stages across the campus with a really fun and really silly kid’s dance party. Get ready to sing and bop with Blippi and his pals for 30 minutes; it’s fun, it’s bright and there will be great music. With various timings throughout the week, there is plenty of opportunity to catch your favourite kids’ entertainer. The perfect way to keep the kids happy as you make your final rounds of Expo 2020 to try get that famous White Passport.

Ne-Yo hitting Jubilee Stage

The end of Expo 2020 Dubai might be ‘Closer‘ but that doesn’t mean the world’s greatest show is done surprising us. Grammy-Award winner and R&B icon Ne-Yo is performing at Expo on the Jubilee Stage Sunday March 27 in a massive concert. If you grew up in the 2000s, this is a biggie; we’re expecting smash hits such as ‘Miss Independent‘, ‘So Sick‘ and ‘Because of You‘ (is anyone else feeling nostalgic for the 2010s?)

Expo 2020 Film Festival

UAE Cinemas: Movie theatre interior with big screen

Expo 2020 is full of surprises, including this gem for film lovers. A mini film festival will hit the screens at the Baden-Wurttemberg pavilion with a series of short films and documentaries. Curated by the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and Trickfilmfestival Stuttgart, this mini festival will feature new production for both adults and children.

Enjoy a live music performance

Rock out to Apo & the Apostles, one of the Middle East’s leading contemporary music bands. Integrating Middle Eastern sounds with the beats of blues and dance music – this is set to be one of the most interesting and exciting performances you’ve experienced. With the end of Expo 2020, we can only imagine that the atmosphere will be electric as residents and tourists gather to celebrate the last of the world’s greatest show.

FIBA 3×3 Basketball Tournament

A whole host of talented athletes, including some Olympic medalists will compete against each other in the FIBA 3×3 Basketball Tournament. There will also be slam dunk entertainment provided by some of the best dunkers in the world – there will even be a feature from acrobatic dunkers. Expect backflips and slam dunks galore.

Expo 2020 Airshow

Experience what is set to be a unique bitter-sweet buzz of the final day of Expo 2020. To finish out an incredible Expo 2020, Fursan Al Emarat of the United Arab Emirates Air Force will participate in an incredible air show. Trailing the colours of the UAE and performing some amazing stunts, onlookers are set to be speechless.
