Jump and play at Air Maniax Yas Mall

Airmaniax Yas Mall: Two children in masks on bouncy slide

Grab the gang and head to Air Maniax at Yas Mall. The inflatable adventure park opens Friday April 1, and promises plenty of fun like at its Marina Mall location. Air Maniax is the UAE’s first large scale indoor “inflatapark” and the opening will have even more excitement with events, goodie bags and more.

Bounce around at Umm Al Emarat Park

BOUNCE at Umm Al Emarat Park for things to do in Abu Dhabi

It’s still cool enough to exercise outside, and the best way to make the most of it is at BOUNCE at Umm Al Emarat Park. Tickets start at Dhs30 for a 15-minute bounce and you’ll find a challenging climbing wall, a fluffy cloud of air, a free jump court and more all overseen by a Bounce Progression Master. Get ready to jump. BOUNCE at Umm Al Emarat Park will be open until the end of April 2022 before it closes for the summer.

Sip coffee in a unique new café in Al Bateen

M1 Café & Lounge terrace

There’s a new unique café to try in Al Bateen. M1 Café & Lounge is open now and it has three floors of dining experiences to try. Sip an artisanal coffee during the day, or head here for lunch or dinner to try specialty plates. There’s a private members’ club, too.

Free fitness classes at Yas Marina Circuit

Slide down Velocity at WTC Mall

Listen to live music on the boardwalk at Waterfront Weekends

Looking for live music in Abu Dhabi? Waterfront Weekends at Yas Bay Waterfront is happening every weekend from Friday to Sunday. Soak up the good vibes from every corner of the boardwalk from 5.30pm until late. Jive to the beat of hand pan, steel pan and tapping guitar performances; violin, cello and harp; plus fusion performers and western performers.

Sharjah Safari Park is the largest safari park outside of Africa and after much anticipation, it’s finally open. Located at Al Bridi Nature Reserve, the safari park has over 1,000 animals and birds to see. Slap on some SPF and a safari shirt (we know you have one).

Watch a new film by an Emirati filmmaker at the Arts Center at NYUAD

Looking for cultural things to do in Abu Dhabi? Nawaf Al Janahi’s Before We Forget is being screened at the Arts Center at NYUAD. The film is about a man suffering from debt who takes his son and fahter on a road trip to find buried treasure. Tickets to CinemaNa are free of charge, but online reservation is required. Tickets are available from Thursday March 31 at 3pm.

Head to the waterfront and cool off in the sunshine with the newly opened Pop City. The popsicles are healthy, sweet and vegan-friendly. You can choose between “funky,” “creamy,” and “fruity” options, depending on your preference. These pops are also incredibly ‘grammable (much like the rest of Yas Bay).

Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba lake campsite is now open with a running and cycling track, eco-camping facilities and playgrounds. Better get out there for April 2022 before it gets too hot. The Al Wathba lake campsite is a 45-minute drive from the centre of Abu Dhabi and includes a variety of pitch types. This is one of the top things to do in Abu Dhabi for adventurous types.

Watch Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore in UAE theatres

Ready for the latest installment of the Harry Potter universe? Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore is releasing to UAE cinemas on Thursday April 28 and stars Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Mads Mikkelsen, Alison Sudol, Jessica Williams and Katherine Waterston.
