Yas Bay Waterfront is officially open. The highly anticipated grand opening happened on Wednesday December 1, 2021. So, prep your stomach, clear your calendar and head down.
The Yas Island development is promised to be Abu Dhabi’s premiere waterfront destination.
The unique Dhs4 billion investment in the waterfront spot was announced last year and everyone in the capital was eager to hear about when Yas Bay Waterfront will open.
After teasing on social media, it became official that Yas Bay Waterfront was to have its big opening on December 1, 2021, with many more launches to follow on the happening development in the south of Yas Island.

Asia Asia, Hunter and Barrel, Paradiso and Lock, Stock & Barrel are part of the grand opening of Yas Bay Waterfront. Additionally, the world-famous Ibiza Beach Club, Café Del Mar, is opening there, further proving that Abu Dhabi is definitely the place to be.
Some spots are already open in Yas Bay, but there is so much more to discover from developer Miral, such as La Carnita, Bushra and Zeera, The Central, Akiba Dori, La Carnita, The Lighthouse and Emmy Squared. Are you excited yet?
The development is slated to make Abu Dhabi a global destination for leisure and entertainment. In addition to scrumptious restaurants, the rapidly developing area will feature Pier 71, a 3km boardwalk with all the facilities residents of the capital and visitors can ask for. There will be works created by international artists to admire as well as the incredible views of the Arabian Gulf.
Do not miss the opening celebrations of Yas Bay Waterfront because there will be plenty of activations, events and live entertainment. We hear there will even be a parade and fireworks throughout the month of December.
The grand opening of Abu Dhabi’s premiere waterfront destination happened right before the UAE’s Golden Jubilee and four-day weekend, meaning we’ll have plenty of uninterrupted time to explore the new area.
