Grab your trainers because the 2022 Dubai Marathon is back. The 22nd edition of the popular run is happening on Saturday December 10, 2022.
It’s an exciting return for runners to be able to pound the pavements of Dubai in the marathon again because the last Dubai Marathon was staged in January 2020, prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Dubai Marathon is the Middle East’s largest mass participation event, and draws international athletes, giving them a chance to run by Dubai landmarks, like the Burj Al Arab. More than 25,000 runners participated in the 2020 Dubai Marathon.
At the 2022 Dubai Marathon, participants will be able to choose between the full marathon as well as a 10km run and a 4km Fun Run. Ready to lace up your trainers and join in? Online registration is now open for all three races at dubaimarathon.org.

The 2022 Dubai Marathon is a milestone event because it is the first time in the 22-year history that the run will take place on a Saturday, after the new UAE weekend took effect in January.
