Yas Island drops a new video campaign – and we predict it will go viral

This time it’s set to a Vanilla Ice song

Yas Island has released a new video campaign and their creative video team has smashed it again.

Following the success of its 2021 viral ad Stayin’ On Yas, based on the 1977 Bee Gees hit single Staying Alive, Yas Island is back with a bigger and better version.

To urge holidaymakers and UAE residents to head to the world’s leading leisure and entertainment hubs, the newest video plays on Vanilla Ice’s hit Ice Ice Baby where the lyrics have been reworked to the toe-tapping beat to say Yas Yas Baby.

The playful clips call on holidaymakers to ‘break like they mean it’ at the destination.

Styled in the format of a music video, the lively clip is fun and uplifting as swarms of dancers and mascots show their moves around Yas Island’s attractions.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi star in the video. As do other locations such as Yas Mall, the iconic W Abu Dhabi Yas Island, Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Bay Waterfront.

We expect the Yas Yas Baby video will flood the internet after the 2021 Bee Gees-inspired music video reached over nine million people and garnered almost seven million views in its first week.

Want to catch the new clip? You can watch Yas Yas Baby on the destination’s social media pages: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Earlier this year American comedian Kevin Hart starred in a fun video to promote the spot.

The clip shows Kevin cruising around Yas Island in a white Ferrari. It was later revealed that he has been appointed job as Chief Island Officer for Yas Island.
