There’s no question that La Terazza is aimed squarely at the Hilton’s in-house guests, who probably just want to help themselves to a few platefuls of something fast and easy without too much hassle after travelling. And for this purpose it certainly does the job. Pastas and main dishes are kept fresh, despite the buffet set up, while the mix of Arabic and European salads are crisp and tasty. However, nothing laid out at the various stations is particularly memorable or creative, while the dessert table is certainly not worth saving space for. In fact many of the sweets are downright bland. The atmosphere is unsurprisingly flat, especially in comparison to the hotel’s other far livelier restaurants, so if you’re after a sit down meal that’s more of the occasion, you’re better off choosing one of those. However, if all you want is something fast and filling, and you don’t mind paying over the odds for it, Le Terazza will do.
