Going for dinner in a bowling centre usually means cheap hot dogs and burgers (and you can get them at Zayed Sports Bowling Centre as well if that’s what takes your fancy). Swerve the fast, though, and head upstairs instead because Noodle Bowl is perhaps the best hidden gem of a restaurant in the city. Diners can sit on a balcony overlooking the bowling lanes if they want to be quirky (or keep an eye on the kids while eating) or sit in the more traditional, pleasant dining room. Dishes are huge, tasty and healthy. For a traditional meal that is a cut above the usual bowling alley fare, Noodle Bowl is hard to beat. It’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in Abu Dhabi.
