There is usually a long queue here, though most diners wait at the chaat counter for street food rather than to be seated. As well as standard Indian fare, the restaurant serves up dishes you’re likely to be less familiar with, many of which come with an unexpected spicy kick. Ordering can be a bit of a challenge – dishes are all specified by their Hindi names and the staff aren’t always helpful when it comes to explaining them – but choosing blind can produce pleasantly surprising results. Adventurous diners will be in their element.
