Set among myriad and glossy fast food options in the Galleria Mall, Taqado stands out. The branding is bold and modern with white walls, a distressed wood counter front, brightly coloured lettering, glass bottles dangling from the ceiling and baskets with fresh tomatoes and peppers on display. The ordering system is simple. First, select your meal from a selection including burritos and fajitas, tacos, a burrito box (low carb, minus the flour tortilla), chilli con carne, a salad and a soup. Pile on your toppings and you are good to go. Taqado is fine for a bite in a hurry, but it is quite pricey for what it is, and there are better options around town.
