Start time announced for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019

F1 releases race schedule for the upcoming season

It’s only January but plans for this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are already underway.

Work goes on behind the scenes all year round to make sure Yas Marina Circuit and the wider city is ready for the biggest weekend of the year.

And with the release of the 2019 Formula 1 race schedule, it’s perhaps time to start getting excited.

We know it’s early, but we can’t’ help ourselves.

Once again the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be the final race in the season, and this time it will be held on the first weekend in December – coinciding with the UAE’s National Day celebrations.

What we’ve now learned is that it will start at 5.10pm on Sunday December 1 (with the sun scheduled to set at 5.33pm).
The 2018 race was the tenth anniversary of it being held in Abu Dhabi – here are some highlights from the first ten years.

We can’t wait to find out which big stars are performing this year, after seeing huge names Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Post Malon, and Guns N’ Roses bring the house down in 2018.

It’s always an amazing occasion, and we’re already getting excited.
