As the incredibly hot weather starts to fade away, we’re looking forward to getting back to our usual fun outdoor activities in Abu Dhabi.
One brilliant event that’s coming to the capital for the very first time is the Pink Ladies Challenge, which is already a hit up the road in Dubai.
Taking place on Saturday October 5 at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort, Abu Dhabi Corniche, the half-day event is designed to raise funds for breast cancer charity Pink Caravan, and let women enjoy a morning of feel-good challenges.
Kicking off at 7am, the team-building activities include The Hilarious Caterpillar Race, The Ripslinger Catapault Challenge, Waiters Race, Xclusive Fitness Challenge, Petanque Bowling Challenge and Archery Tag.
If you’ve got a bit of a competitive side and you love playing silly games, It’s sounds like your absolute dream.
Ladies can enter as teams of five, with three from each team taking part in each activity.
People of all fitness levels and abilities take part, and the varying challenges provide something suitable for everyone, whether you’re incredibly fit or want something a bit less intense.
Jane Sloan, Project Director of the Pink Ladies Challenge, said: “We hope that more women across the region turn up to continue to understand and raise awareness surrounding breast cancer. The event has been a huge success throughout the years and brought together women of different backgrounds and cultures to participate in fun team building events.”
Participants are encouraged to come dressed in pink (obviously), breakfast will be provided on the day and the winning team will be crowned champions at the end of the challenge.
Registration is open until Wednesday October 2, unless the event becomes fully booked before then.
