The world’s second most decorated football club is coming to Abu Dhabi.
Rangers Football Club has announced that it will be launching a football academy in the capital with the first ball being kicked on Sunday September 5 of this year.
Based at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort, The Rangers Soccer Academy will train and develop boys and girls in the beautiful game while also looking to promote the women’s game in the region.
Coaches from the academy will be based in the city to oversee coaching sessions while those enrolled in the school will have the opportunity to travel to Glasgow to visit Ibrox and the Rangers Academy.
Boys and girls from five years old can can get involved in the football camp.

Training sessions are scheduled to take place from Sunday to Wednesday after 5pm as well as Friday mornings with matches being played on Saturdays.
The Scottish champions are just the latest European club to set-up a footballing school in the UAE. with Premier League champions Manchester City and European giants Barcelona and Real Madrid having already established academies in the region looking to find the next Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In partnership with sports performance company, CBF, Rangers are the first Scottish club to launch a football school in the Middle East.
