Dragon Boating around the Louvre Abu Dhabi


Fantastic weather in Abu Dhabi means it’s time to head outside, and there’s a new activity at the Louvre Abu Dhabi that you should definitely get on your radar. Dragon and Phoenix exhibition brings together the arts and sciences of China and the Islamic world. To mark the insightful exhibition, visitors to the museum can enjoy a dragon boat experience for a bit of action-adventure with their culture. Explore the waters surrounding Saadiyat beach. Book a spot if you’re keen because a minimum of eight participants is required and each boat holds a maximum of 10.

Explore a UNESCO World Heritage site at Al Ain Oasis


Al Ain is a gorgeous destination to explore in Abu Dhabi, and one of our favourite things to do there is exploring Al Ain Oasis. There’s nothing quite like taking a walk through thousands of palm trees; there are 147,000 trees at Al Ain Oasis and it’s a top place to enjoy a walk.

Love a historical drama? Captivated by Princess Diana’s story? (Who isn’t?) Spencer is a film about the crumbling relationship between Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, but peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. The film imagines what might have happened during those few fateful days. Directed by Pablo Larrain and written by Steven Knight, the film stars Kristen Stewart as Diana. We’re grabbing the popcorn.
