Limber up for an al fresco yoga class

Offering a new experience for yogis, Umm Al Emarat Park has launched a yoga season to offer twice-weekly outdoor yoga classes in the evening. Led by Neli Merris of Seven Wellness, the classes will feature a range of different techniques to rejuvenate the mind and body. Open to newcomers and more experienced yogis, the classes will be held in Umm Al Emarat park’s Wisdom Garden and participants can choose from single class options or signing up for a package. Classes take place every Sunday and Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm and cost Dhs60 for one class, Dhs149 for four, Dhs199 for eight and Dhs299 for sixteen. Participants must pay in cash on the day. Feast on cheese and grape at La Cava

La Cava is a hidden, underground bar in the Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island and it ahs a great daily deal. The 7 Ate 9 event, held every night between 7pm and 9pm (get it?) offers you the chance to tuck into a wide selection of cheese and grape. Featuring more than 15 different types of grape (including red, white, pink and sparkling), the Dhs150 deal also gives you access to the incredible selection of cheeses. Whether your like your fromages a bit blue and smelly, mild and creamy, smoked or super sharp, you’ll find it all amongst this decadent spread. The spread features a range of crackers and breads, honeys, jams, seeds, nuts and dried fruits. Plus there’s a load of great antipasti including olives, artichokes, courgettes and numerous other vegetables. What more could you want?

The Rugby World Cup is well underway and there has already been some great matches.
