The weather is perfect in Abu Dhabi at the moment; in fact you might describe it as ideal barbecue weather.
So the clever people at Abu Dhabi Moments have decided to host a BBQ Cookout event at Khaleej Al Arabi Park in Al Bateen, and it will involve all the barbecued meats and vegetables you could ever wish for.
Taking place on Friday December 27, it looks set to be a welcome change from all the roast turkey dinners and mince pies.
You can buy barbecued dishes from numerous food stalls, and also have a go at learning some different cooking styles and techniques on the grill yourself.
On top of that there will be a live band providing tunes to set the mood, an arts and crafts area for kids and of course no American-themed event would be complete without a mechanical bull ride.
