Cheese rolls from Liban

Liban, from popular Lebanese street food chain Allo Beirut, is all about nostalgia, and there’s nothing that shouts childhood treats like cheese rolls. Mac ’n’ cheese from The Local Fire

You’re coming to The Local Fire for the smoked meat, but while you’re there don’t deny yourself a dollop of mac ’n’ cheese. This brand-new outlet from Hattem Mattar of The Mattar Farm – the most famous pitmaster in the UAE – is serving the tastiest smoked meat in town at Time Out Market Dubai. The moreish mac ’n’ cheese is a hit as a side – or you can add 200g of smoked meat to your order for the perfect meat and cheese combination. One that will keep you going.

Pitfire Primo from Pitfire

Slinging out epic New York-style pizzas, Pitfire’s Primo is the cheesiest of the bunch. The brand’s signature pie, the Primo has a roasted garlic base and is loaded with veggies including mushrooms and kalamata olives. But what about the cheese? We hear you – and so do the pizza experts at Piftire. Mozzarella, fontina and goat’s cheese are layered on top of the pillowy base – with a scattering of fresh tomatoes. Delicious.

Don’t fret, vegan Market-goers, you’re not left out of the fromage fiesta. Little Erth prides itself on health-conscious, inventive and fun vegan dishes and their mac ’n’ cheese is no different. It has all the richness and flavour you’d hope for when it comes to a comforting classic – but is completely dairy-free made with pumpkin, miso paste, roasted garlic and coconut cream.
