Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been named in the top ten places to relocate to, according to the Relocation Report by Money.co.uk
As proud UAE residents, we’re not surprised that two of our favourite cities are being recognised as incredible places to move to. With incredible food and nightlife, loads of things to do, and mega arts and culture scenes, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are easy to love.
The study took several factors into consideration, including house prices, living costs, average salary, weather conditions, number of restaurants and green spaces, internet speed and life expectancy.

Dubai came in fourth worldwide, just behind Austin, Tokyo and Charleston. Abu Dhabi came soon after, in sixth place after Los Angeles.
Home to millions of expats, it’s no surprise that Dubai ranks so high. It is also considered the best relocation destination if you’re moving for better weather (duh). Abu Dhabi follows with a close second for better weather due to its slightly colder average temperature.
Muscat, Doha and Manama from the region all ranked in the top 20.
Basel, Switzerland is the most expensive city to relocate to in the world, while Istanbul is the most affordable. Doha is the top relocation destination on the coastline with perfect water temperatures and high wages.

We’re proud, but not surprised considering how well the UAE does in all kinds of world rankings. The UAE recently ranked first for women’s community safety in a study by Georgetown University. A study by Bloomberg also named the UAE as the third best in response to COVID-19.
