Looking for a brilliant new spot to eat out in the capital? Em Sherif Café has opened on the Abu Dhabi Corniche and you’re going to want to check it out.
The Lebanese restaurant brings back old flavours of the Levant with authentic oriental cuisine. Anyone else hungry yet? Em Sherif Café Abu Dhabi opened on Monday May 2 over the Eid break. The new restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant’s walls are decorated with oriental vases and flowers with comfortable furnishings and marble tabletops. Head there for Lebanese favourites in a diverse menu of regional cuisines.
Em Sherif Café serves up authentic flavours from the Middle East with fresh produce. On the menu you’ll find an extensive selection of salads, hot and cold mezze including Lebanese tabbouleh in three variations, hearty lentil salad, creamy hummus with pine nuts, jute leaves in olive oil plus kisk and awarma.
The menu also features a daily dish such as the chicken msakhan, grills and sandwiches.
The café is elegant and airy inside with Mediterranean vibes. You can also go for coffee, shisha, or late-night bites. Yes please.

Since the opening of the first Em Sherif Restaurant in Beirut in 2011, the group has expanded to include two more concepts, including Em Sherif Café and Em Sherif Sea Café: a seafood concept with a beef bar corner.
Em Sherif Café is currently open in seven locations in Lebanon, the UAE, Kuwait, KSA and Egypt will soon be announcing new launches including more in Saudi Arabia, along with Qatar and Baghdad, Irbil, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan. We’ll see it soon in Abu Dhabi when it opens this Eid break.
