Kai Beach Saadiyat is opening today (Thursday June 16) at the same location where Saadiyat Public Beach used to be.

Where is Kai Beach?

Kai Beach Saadiyat is located on Saadiyat Island, near Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi. If the location sounds familiar, that’s because Kai is taking over where Saadiyat Public Beach used to be. The new Abu Dhabi beach will now be managed by Saadiyat Beach Club.

What are the Kai Beach Saadiyat opening hours?

The beach is open daily from 7am to sunset. There are no reservations and entry is on a first come first served basis.

How much does entry cost?

During weekdays, access costs Dhs75 for adults and Dhs35 for kids aged six to 12. On the weekend and during public holidays, beach access costs Dhs95 for adults and Dhs60 for kids aged six to 12. Kids five and younger get in for free.

If you’re after a deal, summer promotional rates start at Dhs50.

What are the amenities at Kai Beach Saadiyat?

The new beach has sun loungers, changing rooms and showers, plus, soft and house drinks and shisha served to your sun lounger. You can also get food from MLT food truck, which serves everything from breakfast to tacos, burgers, sandwiches and mac n’ cheese. Yum.

Can I bring food and drinks inside?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed on the beach.

Why did Saadiyat public beach close?

Saadiyat Public Beach closed when Abu Dhabi restricted access to public beaches to and parks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and has never fully reopened. Now the stunning location is finally back with new management and a new name.
