Can’t wait for the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi to open in 2025? Stan the T-Rex is in Abu Dhabi at Manarat Al Saadiyat for an exhibition related to the forthcoming Saadiyat Island museum, and we’re roaring with excitement.
The 67-million year-old T-Rex and other wonders, such as the seven-billion-year-old Murchison Meteorite, will be displayed at Manarat Al Saadiyat from Wednesday April 6 to Thursday May 12. Get ready to feast your eyes on some serious history as you learn more about the upcoming Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 8pm and is free to enter. The exhibition promises to give us a taste of what’s to come when the museum opens.
Since the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi announced that it would be opening on Saadiyat Island in 2025, our jaws have been on the ground (where they might just stay for future archeologists to find).
Located in Saadiyat Cultural District, the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will feature some of the world’s rarest natural history specimens.

The journey through the galleries will take visitors from the formation of the earth to modern times, plus, it will highlight what the future could look like. The intent is to inspire younger generations to protect our incredible planet.
Abu Dhabi’s Natural History Museum will set itself apart from others because it will tell earth’s history through an Arabian lens, and highlight local flora and fauna, and the geological history of the region.
Abu Dhabi’s Natural History Museum will have a teaching institute and scientific research centre that will undertake studies in zoology, palaeontology, marine biology, molecular research and earth sciences.
Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is also set to be completed in 2025, making it one of the most exciting years for arts and culture in Abu Dhabi.
