Celebrate Pancake Day

Tuesday March 1 is Pancake Day, and you know what that means.: Grab your favourite bottles of syrup and head to the city’s best breakfast spots. Wondering where to go? Ride the region’s longest toboggan in RAK

Jais Sledder is open now in Ras Al Khaimah and it looks well worth the drive to our neighbouring emirate. The new bobsled experience is located at Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, and you’re going to want to hang onto your hat while you take in the stunning mountain views.

Visit the Middle East Film & Comic Con

Incredible cosplay, panel discussions and celebrity meet and greets. Are you ready for Comic Con in Abu Dhabi? Sink your teeth into a High Joint burger

One of Dubai’s best-loved homegrown burger joints, High Joint, is popping up in Abu Dhabi at Qasr Al Hosn. The popular spot serves up burgers made with freshly minced patties from premium angus beef. You can also order your burger through Talabat.

Take Fido to the new dog park in Al Khubeirah

There’s a new dog park in Abu Dhabi to bring your pup. The Al Khubeirah dog park offers a secure and gated environment for dogs to play freely. It includes dedicated spaces for large and small dogs, play equipment, open green spaces, and more. The pet-friendly park is open daily from 6am to 10pm.

See a natural wonder at the Al Wathba Fossil Dune protected area

There are over 1,700 rare fossil dunes to see at this new eco-tourism attraction in Abu Dhabi, which is also host to a massive amphitheater, music and light shows, food trucks and walking tracks.

The new exhibition at NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery features three Iranian artists: Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh and Hesam Rahmanian, who are known for their immersive, surreal projects, performances, paintings, and animations. This exhibition will be their first solo exhibition in the UAE and is a testament to their 13 years in Dubai.

Abu Dhabi’s first cat café has opened and it’s serving up coffee and playtime with cute cats. The café doesn’t allow outside cats or other pets, so be sure to leave fluffy friends at home.

Turn off your lights for Earth Hour

Earth hour falls on the last Saturday of March each year, and is a grassroots movement where people around the world turn off their lights for one hour at 8.30pm to show support for the planet and to raise awareness for climate change.
