Celebrate Thanksgiving early with a takeaway turkey at Circle Café


Looking to start the “turkey day” celebrations in Abu Dhabi? Circle Café has takeaway turkeys that will make your table the talk of the town. The feast starts at Dhs399 to feed a table of six, and you get a 6kg turkey to go, complete with trimmings from traditional stuffing to homemade mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. You can add more onto your spread with a range of seasonal sides and add-ons, including roasted veggies, oriental rice, and pecan or pumpkin pie.

Check into the brand new Warner Bros. hotel


Ready to say hey to Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck? Now you can hang out with them at a new hotel thanks to the opening of the Warner Bros. hotel. The world’s first WB Hotel opened in Yas, Island Abu Dhabi on November 11 to officially welcome guests. We’re packing our bags.

Do a HIIT class at Sweat

Ready to sweat? This compact fitness studio promises to “push your inner warrior” by tapping into the power of your mind, body and soul. This is HIIT as you’ve probably not seen it before. The 60-minute Sycle and Sweat combines pedal power and strength training in one, while the TRX Full Body offers an hour of suspension training with short bursts of cardio.

Have coffee at the new Forever Rose Café in Yas Mall

Get your smartphone camera ready, because Forever Rose Café has opened in Yas Mall and it’s cuter than ever. This is the third location for the Instagram favourite and the second in Abu Dhabi.

See super snake at The National Aquarium

A super snake is coming to the National Aquarium at Al Qana

The National Aquarium has flung open its doors to huge fanfare. One of the biggest draws? Super snake – the world’s largest known living snake in captivity. The snake lives at the Flooded Forest Zone in the aquarium along with more than 8,000 rainforest creatures.

Tori No Su is back with a new menu

Visit a pop-up from one of Dubai’s best Persian restaurants

Do you love Persian food? Want to try a Dubai favourite without leaving Abu Dhabi? Anar is hosting a pop-up at Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi from Sunday November 14 to Saturday November 20.

Visit the recently reopened Resource Centre at the Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Resource Centre, open to the public from Thursday November 11, offers you the chance to explore and learn about the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s permanent collection. Check out documents on the artworks, read through digital resources and the extensive artwork database, and a library collection of almost 5,000 books. Resources are available in Arabic, English and French. The centre is open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 5pm and entry is included with the admission ticket, but you can also request free entry at the ticketing desk.

Whitewater rafting at Wadi Adventure

Whitewater rafting in the desert? The manmade rapids of Al Ain prove that even the wildest of water sports can be ticked off in the great expanses of UAE sand. There’s kayaking and surfing here, too. Life jacket and safety jackets keep everything above the surface in case you take a tumble, and in terms of white-knuckle factor, it’s got it by the bucket.

Watch the Rooftop Rhythms anniversary performance

Abu Dhabi’s longest-running poetry open mic night, Rooftop Rhythms, is back in person for the first time since it went online in early 2020. Head to Louvre Abu Dhabi on November 17 for the 10th anniversary event, themed as the wellness edition. The night will spotlight established poets, musicians, DJ’s and singers in a one-of-a-kind evening that focuses on mental wellness.
