See the amazing architecture in the Presidential Palace

Al Barza at Qasr Al Watan is now open to the public for the first time.

Ready to see some UAE history? This special majlis is the largest space in the Presidential Palace after the Great Hall and is a stunning work of architecture.

Step inside Al Barza, where you can learn about the traditional role of the majlis, which is a designated space for cultural, political and social gatherings. Al Barza at Qasr Al Watan is located behind the Great Hall. There you can learn more about the space through a guided tour, or by picking up a multimedia guide at the start of your visit.

The majlis is part of the United Arab Emirates’ deep-rooted cultural tradition of hosting meetings for members of the community to deliberate and share information amongst each other. A “Barza” historically refers to a majlis session where important matters can be brought to the attention of the Sheikh.
