Dubai’s Museum of the Future NFT collection is coming soon

Get your virtual hands on ‘the most beautiful NFTs in the Metaverse’

Dubai’s Museum of the Future NFT collection is coming.

That’s right, the Museum of the Future is embracing the future (funny that) by joining the crypto-technology space.

The museum – which only opened its doors in February this year – is collaborating with Binance, a blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, for the project.

We are expecting big things as the museum is billing its NFT collection as being ‘the most beautiful NFTs in the Metaverse’. That is one bold claim.

Not sure what an NFT is? An NFT is a non-fungible token, which is essentially a digital certificate made using Blockchain technology. Meaning that the proof of ownership is stored in Blockchain and is super secure.

Anything can be created as an NFT, but right now, art is all the rage.

Clueless as to what the metaverse is? The metaverse is a digital environment made up of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and blockchain. Essentially the metaverse is a virtual world, almost like a video game that impersonates the real world.

To drum up excitement for the gallery of NFTs, a video has been released that shows footage of the impressive landmark that is an unusual oval shape and stands at 77m tall.

Revealing that those interested need to stay tuned to find out more, text in the footage reads: “The most beautiful building on earth launches the most beautiful NFTs in the metaverse.”

Want to get in on the action? The first NFT drop is set to be announced in the coming weeks.

NFTs are becoming more and more popular with big brands investing in the technology.

Emirates airline recently shared that it is soon to release both collectible and utility-based NFTs.

Dubai-based digital art centre Infinity des Lumiѐres, in The Dubai Mall, also recently got in on the action by having a one-day NFT exhibition.
