Children under the age of 12 are now permitted to visit shopping malls, restaurants and retails shops in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE Government has announced that age restrictions put in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19 are now being eased.

Previously children under the age of 12 and adults over the age of 60 were not permitted access to a number of public areas including shopping malls.
Restrictions have now lifted as the National Sterilisation Programme has reached an end.
Residents are expected to adhere to public safety guidelines including social distancing, the wearing of masks and observing the maximum capacity of venues across the emirate.
Currently, malls in Abu Dhabi are not permitted to exceed 30 percent capacity.
