UAE opens seven new COVID-19 laser testing sites across the country

More Dhs50 laser testing centres available in the UAE

Seven new DPI laser test centres have opened in the UAE.

Since June 2 there have been restrictions in place for getting into Abu Dhabi.

A negative COVID-19 test is required for travel into Abu Dhabi.

Now, seven new DPI laser testing centres have opened in the UAE to help those travelling to Abu Dhabi to get tested.

New centres have opened at Zayed Sports City and the Corniche in Abu Dhabi, Al Hili in Al Ain, Mina Rashed and Al Khawaneej in Dubai, and one each in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Operating hours in Abu Dhabi are from 8am to 8pm and in Dubai and the northern emirates from 10am to 8pm.

Tests must be booked in advance through Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and are valid for 48 hours.

If you have an appointment and pass the screening test you will be allowed into Abu Dhabi.

Those who do not pass the test will have to return to Dubai, Fujairah or Ras Al Khaimah and have a full swab-style PCR test.

Anyone who already has a negative PCR result from the previous 48 hours does not need to book a screening test at the border and will be allowed through to Abu Dhabi upon showing the test result.
