COVID-19 vaccine now available at more than 100 locations in Abu Dhabi

UAE aims to have 50 percent of the population vaccinated by the end of March

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available at 105 locations in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi has launched the Choose to Vaccinate campaign, encouraging all citizens and residents in the emirate to opt for vaccination.

Across the UAE, a vaccination target of 50 percent of the population has been set for the end of March.

Making it easy for residents to choose a health centre close to them, the full list of vaccination centres by the Department of Health in the emirate is available here.

Health centres administering the vaccine are spread across Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.

Some people are advised against getting the vaccine at this time, including pregnant women, nursing mothers, women planning to become pregnant in the next three months, people with immunodeficiency diseases and children under the age of 18.

No prior appointment is needed to visit a vaccination centre in Abu Dhabi.
