Gamers can enjoy console, mobile, Esports, virtual reality (VR) and some favourite retro games across Pixoul Abu Dhabi’s sprawling space. Each zone is clearly marked and each one offers a variety of gaming modes. Yes, Pac-Man and Space Invaders are part of the fun.
Whether you’re a professional gamer or don’t really know your Mario Bros, Pixoul Abu Dhabi is focused on being a gaming destination for all skill levels. Similarly, it’s meant to be a spot where families can have some fun at one of the 10 virtual reality experiences, professional gamers can compete and anyone who is looking for some nostalgia can grab a joystick in the retro gaming area and play Tekken or NBA Jam.
Fortnite, Minecraft and Pokémon, Pixoul Abu Dhabi has the lot and more, and encourages gamers to plonk themselves down in a bean bag chair and see how quickly they can race through the levels.
If you’re a serious gamer (or looking to be one), there will even be an Esports Academy with a focused training facility.
After some big competition? Pixoul has an 800-seat Esports event hall complete with a 78-square-metre LED screen. This makes it one of the biggest gaming arenas in the region, and it’s poised to be a spot for international competitions.
Mobile gaming fans are taken care of with the dedicated zone. It’s equipped with high-speed internet jacks, fans and high-performance gaming phones available to rent.
The versatile Al Qana gaming space also has producing facilities with high-spec equipment that will suit amateur and professional content, if you want to be the next big thing on Twitch.
