Wizz Air launches flights to Tel Aviv from Abu Dhabi from Dhs99

The top deal starts next week

Wizz Air will charter its first flight to Tel Aviv on Sunday April 18, connecting Abu Dhabi with the Israeli city.

Israel was recently added to Abu Dhabi’s ‘green list’, meaning travellers will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival in the UAE capital.

Tickets are going for as low as Dhs99 (one-way), and flights will run three times per week in April, moving to daily services in May.

Kees Van Schaick, managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, said: “In light of the recently eased restrictions, I’m delighted to announce the date of the first Wizz flight from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv later this month.

“The connection between the two cities is a historic moment – the link between the UAE and Israel will further contribute to the tourism sector and help to diversify the local economy, while bringing new low-fare business and leisure opportunities for travellers.”

And if you’re looking for increased flexibility when travelling, passengers can opt for the Wizz Flex service when buying their tickets.

It means flyers can cancel their flight up to three hours before departure without any fee and get 100 percent of the original fare immediately reimbursed in air-line credit, as well as change dates and even routes an unlimited number of times.

And because in the current climate travel plans can change at the drop of a hat, Wizz also recently launched a new automated service to process refunds.

The low-cost airline guarantees refunds will be processed in one week or less.

How’s that for peace of mind?
