Enjoy one last ride at Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit is offering motorsport fans one last ride of the world famous Formula 1 race track today (Wednesday June 30) before the barriers are drawn up for the circuit’s summer makeover.

And if the thought of being one of the final drivers to grace Yas Marina Circuit isn’t enough to get your engine revving, the special Track Pass will soon have your automobile purring.

For Dhs1,580, you can earn a chance to conquer the track’s corners and chicanes on Wednesday June 30 before having the honour of being one of the first drivers to put rubber onto tarmac when the ribbons are cut for the grand unveiling on Friday October 22.

That means you can race Yas Marina Circuit’s new form before Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen tame the track at the crescendo of the F1 season on December 12.

And as well as access to two track days, guests will receive a piece of history – quite literally – with a gift of track memorabilia at the reopening.

Registration opens at 7.30pm this evening with the racing session taking place from 9pm until midnight.

The circuit’s remodelling was announced last week with planned work to be carried out on the north hairpin, south marina and hotel sections.

The news follows hot on the tailgate of fans being welcomed back for the 2021 edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

A limited of number tickets will be available to the public, with general admission being priced at Dhs699, Dhs660 for grandstand entry and hospitality passes coming in at Dhs1,250.
