Where to see Eid fireworks in Abu Dhabi

It wouldn’t be Eid Al Fitr in the capital without some serious fireworks. The colourful displays, oohs, aahs and cheerful crowds always make the holiday feel like a banger. Eid fireworks in Abu Dhabi are a sight to be seen and we suspect Eid 2022 will be no different.

Wondering when Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall? It is expected to arrive for the first week of May. Eid Al Fitr for 2022 is expected to begin at sunset on Sunday May 1, although this is still awaiting confirmation from official government bodies.

Yas Island has an incredible line-up ready for the holiday including fireworks, events and live shows from the beginning of Eid until the end of May. Ready to celebrate?

The sky is lighting up at Yas Bay for three days on the Eid weekend. There will be fireworks every five minutes starting from 9pm until late on Tuesday May 3 to Thursday May 5. If you’re looking for more ways to celebrate Eid Al Fitr 2022, Yas Bay Waterfront is also putting on loads events and concerts to make the most of it. There are concerts and performances taking place at Etihad Arena.

On Tuesday May 3, Amr Diab is performing live with a massive concert. On Wednesday May 4 you can catch Iraqi singer, Kadim Al Saher and Sherine Abdel Wahab: a star singer from Egypt.
