The Crossing is all about blending cultures and shared experiences on the subcontinent, hence the name. The recently opened Dubai outpost is located at The H Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. The menu revives lost recipes with shared plates of classic Indian comfort food and contemporary drinks.

Wondering what’s on the menu during the takeover? First up, sink your teeth into mutton pulao, walima korma, kalimpong dumplings, creamy chicken makhani malai, dal moradabad with pakwaan crisps and malaiyo: a sweet winter dish made with milk foam and honey brittle. There will also be specially curated mixed drinks designed around Bollywood and IIFA. Sounds fancy.
