Al Wathba Wetland Reserve launches clean-up day

You can help preserve the environment at the event

Al Wathba Wetland Reserve has reopened to the public.

Helping to invite the community to explore the area and help to preserve its beauty, the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) has organised a clean-up this weekend.

Open to groups of four, you can head along and help to clean up the area and make the reserve better for the local wildlife.

Taking place from 8am to 10am on Saturday January 16, all members of the public are invited to visit the park and help out.

On the day the EAD will provide gloves, sticks and waste bags to assist with the cleanup.

All those planning on attending are requested to be at the location by 8am at the latest on the day.

Participants are also encouraged to bring water, snacks, a towel and a backpack with sunscreen, first aid kit and hand sanitiser.

Shout out to all the eco heroes heading along this weekend helping to keep our capital beautiful.
