Abu Dhabi Ramadan 2022 parking fees and bus schedules announced

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport shared the updates

Wondering about Abu Dhabi Ramadan 2022 parking fees and bus schedules? The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced the Ramadan 2022 paid parking fees schedule.

Paid parking fees (Mawaqif) will be applied during Ramadan in line with the usual timings of Saturday to Thursday from 8am until midnight.

Street parking will be free of charge on Fridays and public holidays, the ITC confirmed on Friday April 1.

It was also revealed in the same announcement that the Darb toll gate system hours are to be changed during Ramadan.

As a result, toll fees need to be paid between 8am to 10am, and from 2pm until 4pm from Saturday to Thursday, and there will be no Darb tolls on Fridays.

Taking public transport? The Abu Dhabi public city bus services will operate from 5am to 1am, and suburb bus services will run from 5am until midnight.

Some services will be running for 24 hours including routes 22, 54, 65, 67, 101, 110, A1 and A2.

In Al Ain city and suburban areas, public buses will run from 6am until midnight and the frequency of most regional bus services in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will remain the same.

Abu Dhabi Island and Al Ain city will see a slight change in how often some buses run.

Al Dhafrah’s public bus service will continue to operate at the current service hours and buses will stop service during iftar time.

Abu Dhabi Express services will operate from 6am until 11pm, during weekdays and from 6am to 1am over the weekends.

Also shared during the update was that ITC Customer’s Happiness Centres, based in Abu Dhabi City Municipality and Al Ain City Municipality, will be working from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 2:30pm and on Friday from 9am to noon.

Besides Abu Dhabi Ramadan 2022 parking fees and bus schedules changes, there are other updates across the capital. For Ramadan 2022 in Abu Dhabi, there are also modifications to private working hourspublic sector working hours as well as to mall opening hours.
