Abu Dhabi nightlife can be incredible, but sometimes you just want something a little unexpected. Well, we hear unexpected is on the way. TVM is an Irish pub coming to Abu Dhabi this summer. The twist? Well, for starters, it’s unlicensed.
The bar is due to open at The Galleria Al Maryah Island this summer, where it will be serving faux mixed drinks and food pairings along with (we hope) plenty of good vibes.
TVM says it aims to provide the look, feel, and excitement of any other bar, just with soft drinks instead. Stick with Time Out for our hot take as soon as their doors are open.
TVM originally opened in the heart of Dublin in 2019, where it claims to be the first bar of its kind in Ireland.
The concept might sound unbelievable to people who are used to the Irish pub scene but owners Vaughan Yates and Oisin Davis are hoping to revolutionise the way people approach and enjoy nights out.
Abu Dhabi is its first international franchise.
The Galleria Al Maryah Island is already one of Abu Dhabi’s favourite spots to have a night out; home to some of the best bars the city has to offer, such as: Dragon’s Tooth, a Shanghai-themed speakeasy at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Eclipse Terrace Lounge, a poolside spot at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, and Loca, a casual Mexican bar and restaurant.
Wondering what else will be served up?
The menu at TMV’s Dublin venue serves faux mixed drinks such as Good Spirits which is made with Three Spirit Social Elixir, strawberry, lapsang souchong, and soda.
Also up for grabs is the Brooklyn Special Effects Hoppy and the Stop Whining Rosato grape. We can’t wait to see what the Abu Dhabi menu will look like.
