One of London’s most Instagrammable cafés has a pop-up in Abu Dhabi

Grab your phone because EL&N is at MOTN Festival

Make sure your phone is fully charged because EL&N is in the UAE for the first time with a pop-up at the Mother of the Nation Festival.

You’ve seen the millennial pink décor, flowers-upon-flowers walls, as well as all the prettiest pastel plates, and now it is time to step inside the equally gorgeous EL&N Café pop-up at MOTN on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

This is the first time that EL&N (short for “Eat, Live & Nourish”) has come to the United Arab Emirates, and it is setting up temporary shop in Abu Dhabi in a cotton candy pink building with walls, tables and chairs to match. And EL&N is bringing exclusive “croffles,” a croissant-waffle hybrid topped with a variety of sweets, to the party. (“Doissants”, who?)

During the 2021 Mother of the Nation Festival pop-up, fans of EL&N will be able to order some of the brand’s most popular and highly photogenic drinks and classic food, including the soft colour-changing Ombré Passionfruit Cooler and the Spanish Latte.

EL&N is a café meets lifestyle brand, and its pretty-in-pink locations are Insta famous for gorgeous drinks (you’ve likely seen the rose Spanish latte on Instagram) and for its food menu that ranges from trendy healthy options (smashed avocado, eggs royale, smoothie bowls) to its sweeter treats, so be sure to check out EL&N’s MOTN croffles while the festival is on from Thursday December 9 to Saturday December 18.

The “Eat, Live & Nourish” concept started back in London in 2017 with the goal of giving people the full ‘gram experience of delicious food and drinks in a striking setting. Fast forward a few years, and EL&N has locations around England, and is expanding internationally with a pretty pink shop planned for Dubai and one set to open in Abu Dhabi’s new Yas Bay Waterfront. Watch this space for more.

There are some highly Instagrammable cafés in Abu Dhabi and EL&N could become another one. Experience it for the first time in the UAE at MOTN before it takes up permanent (and likely very pink) digs.

Wondering what is the 2021 Mother of the Nation Festival? This December, MOTN brings food, music, art, shopping and tonnes of fun to Abu Dhabi’s Corniche. The event pays tribute to the legacy of HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, and focuses on community, family and the contributions of women. General admission tickets start at Dhs25 (online) and Dhs30 (at the door), with day passes starting at Dhs75 (online) and Dhs80 (door).

From Dhs25 (general admission), Thu Dec 9-19, 4pm-midnight (Sun-Thu), 2pm-midnight (Fri-Sat). Abu Dhabi Corniche motn.ae.
