It’s Sunday, and that means that we’re back to work and daydreaming about what to do this week. There are loads of awesome things to do in the capital, and we can’t wait to get started.

Cabana day at The Abu Dhabi EDITION

Looking for a chilled-out day by the pool this week? Grab your friends and head to The Abu Dhabi EDITION with plenty of sunscreen and your swimsuit. The pool is best enjoyed with a comfy cabana, surrounded by tropical reggae sounds and a selection of bites plus unlimited drinks. This deal is on every Sunday to Wednesday for three hours between noon and 6pm and will set you back Dhs250.

Crabs & Curries menu at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort

Head to The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort this month for all the crab you could ask for. Sample a curated selection of the best crab and curry dishes from across South East Asia alongside the already extensive range of à la carte delicacies. The Crabs & Curries menu has tonnes of exciting options, including meat, fish, and shell recipes from Indonesia, Thailand, and beyond. The menu is only available until Tuesday August 31, so this is your last week to take advantage.

Have a haircut and a coffee at Local Mamsha

One of the coolest places in the capital, Local has just opened a second branch in Mamsha and you have no reason not to go. Have a coffee and a shop, and maybe even catch a wave or get a fresh new trim (yeah, it’s all available at this one spot). The new branch sells tees, slides, and shades – all perfect for wearing on Soul Beach, which is right outside and will have you flexing for the ‘gram on the white sands. You can also get haircare products, candles, hard copies of magazine B from Seoul and cool graphic tees. No sneakers as of yet, but the Al Zeina branch has you covered there for now.

Looking for a beautiful place to golf?

With a view of the white sands on Saadiyat Beach and the turquoise blue waters of the Gulf, this course is a stunning place to play a round of golf. The cost is Dhs450 during the week or Dhs580 on Fridays and Saturdays. If you’re going for a twilight round the cost is lower at Dhs350 during the week and Dhs475 on the weekend. Don’t get the yips, get golfing.

Are you on the hunt for fantastic wings? Get ready to pounce on this roaring wings deal at Easy Tiger. Head to this vibrant establishment anytime from Sunday to Thursday and you’ll get two free house beverages with every platter of wings ordered. Certainly sounds like something to flap about – we’ll be bringing our bibs.

Sample these special dishes at Punjab Grill

If you’re looking to try some fancy Indian fare look no further than Punjab Grill, with dishes created by Chef Sandeep. Start with the palak patta chaat, which is batter-fried spinach leaves topped with tamarind chutney. Chaamp taajdar is Punjab Grill’s interpretation of a Crown Roast of Lamb marinated with spices and labneh. Looking for something glam? The arvi ka kofta is served with peanut and tamarind gravy and draped in gold leaf. Raw banana kofta curry is a steamed banana dish spiced with cumin and deep fried.

Tasty toastie competition with Jones the Grocer

Jones the Grocer is inviting toastie-lovers across the city to show-off their unique home toastie-making skills with a delicious competition that has a crunch. The toastie making competition is going from Monday August 9 to Saturday September 4. Use Jones the Grocer condiments and ingredients to create your toastie, then share your work of art with the hashtag #jonestoasties on your public Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. The winner will get a dinner for four at Jones the Grocer (plus bragging rights of course). May the best toast win.

Try Transit Terminal Food

Looking for something brand new to try in the capital? Transit Terminal Food is a new (and standalone) arrival on the capital’s food scene, and it’s one of the most imaginative concepts we’ve seen in a long time. With an external façade that mimics a step towards the departures lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport, the interior is half check-in counter, half fuselage complete with seats, and stick-on emergency exit doors. Work out at the new CRANK fitness studio

Nightclub? Meet spin class. The ultra-trendy, boutique fitness studio CRANK has finally opened its doors in Abu Dhabi and we’re ready to spin. One of the most popular (and coolest) fitness studios in Dubai, CRANK’s 45-minute classes are fast, loud and the flashing lights will have your body dancing on that bike. Can you feel the adrenaline kicking in yet? Head to Sheikha Fatima Park and crank it up.
