There has been a massive UK travel. The UK has announced that all remaining travel restrictions and regulations for vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers will be lifted on Friday March 18.
Looking to travel from the UAE to the UK? You will no longer need to complete a passenger locator form (PLF) or do any COVID-19 testing to enter the country. You will also not need to do a test on arrival. All COVID-19 related measures have been lifted regardless of passengers’ vaccination status.
Earlier this month, the UK announced it was lifting COVID-19 related measures for all vaccinated travellers, but you would still need to complete a passenger locator forms (PLF). Unvaccinated passengers needed to take a pre-departure test and a test on or before day two of their arrival in the UK. As of Friday March 18, these final measures will be lifted.

Several countries across the world have been easing COVID-19 related measures and restrictions for travel. Many countries no longer require vaccinated passengers to take a pre-departure PCR test or test on arrival, and many have also eased quarantine requirements on arrival.
The UAE recently announced sweeping changes to COVID-19 protocols across the country. There have been updates to face mask requirements, event capacity, travel and more. There have also been modifications to the Al Hosn app to accommodate the latest changes.
Earlier this year, the UAE also announced that unvaccinated citizens would be banned from travelling. If you are a UAE citizen, you need to be vaccinated to leave the country. In order to be considered fully vaccinated, you need to obtain COVID-19 booster doses.
