The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is all about sport, nightlife and fun but it wouldn’t be half as exciting if there wasn’t food involved. And if you’re looking for the best F1 restaurants, we’ve got you covered.

F1 in Abu Dhabi is always a massive event full of incredible parties, brunches, concerts and of course, brilliant racing to see.

Whether you’re a long-time fan, or recently got into F1, you’re going to want to munch your way through these plates while you take in all the racing action.

Yas Marina Circuit has announced that the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 is officially a go. You’d better start planning your meals out before you race to the track.

CÉ LA VI Dubai

If you’re looking for F1 restaurants on the track, we hear the fine-dining restaurant, CÉ LA VI Dubai is coming to Abu Dhabi for F1. The spot is known for its contemporary Asian plates and its iconic Downtown Dubai location. The CÉ LA VI Dubai pop-up will be bringing diners a multi-sensory experience complete with mixology and music.

Gohan

Gohan is one of two new restaurants opening at Shams Suite in the iconic North Grandstand at Yas Marina Circuit. It has views of the North Hairpin, which means you won’t have to miss any action while you eat. Expect to chow down on Japanese-inspired street food at one of the anticipated F1 restaurants. Vroom.

Ninive

Ninive is the second new restaurant opening at the track, above the tightest hairpin turn at Yas Marina Circuit. Head there to enjoy panoramic views of the track and an elegant dining experience with a “sensory-driven atmosphere.” We’re intrigued, but this sounds like it could be one of the top F1 restaurants to try while you’re at the track.

Luna Lounge

Luna Lounge is returning for the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 and if you’re wondering where to eat during F1, this is where you can splash out. The venue has live music, premium food and beverages served alongside 360-degree views of Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Marina and the iconic W Abu Dhabi hotel. It’s an open-air F1 experience and it requires you to book tickets to enter.

On Yas Island

Amerigos

Abu Dhabi Friday Brunch : Amerigos Mexican food

Cool décor, vibrant colours and upbeat music. There are few vibes in Abu Dhabi more exciting, which is exactly the mood you want in the best F1 restaurants. This Mexican joint on Yas Island does no fewer than nine tacos in Abu Dhabi for diners to get their chops around, among other things.

Angar

If you’re wondering where to eat during F1, Angar is always a good shout. This laid-back Indian restaurant at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island serves up contemporary and playful dishes, taking traditional flavours and giving them a modern twist. The venue promises to be edgy yet playful, bringing guests on a journey along the Indian spice trail.

Cipriani

If you’re looking for restaurants on Yas Island Abu Dhabi serving Italian food, you should definitely check out Cipriani. It’s an ideal spot for a date or family occasion – and dishes are worth sharing. There’s a page of Japanese dishes and a list of Italian classics, and it’s the latter we’d suggest you go with, as that’s really what Ciprani is all about.

Garage

Name a more iconic hotel in Abu Dhabi than the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. We’ll wait. And if you’re looking for F1 restaurants with views of the track, Garage should be at the top of your list. The top restaurant always has fun stuff happening during F1, including brunches, parties and more.

Iris Yas Island

Iris is well loved most of the year, but especially during F1. If you’re wondering where to eat during F1, Iris Yas Island is located in the heart of Yas Marina, and with bobbing boats, walkways lit with fairy lights, and a pretty fountain to peruse. It serves specialty mixed drinks and a menu of salads, sushi and loads of starters.

Lock, Stock & Barrel

Lock, Stock & Barrel Abu Dhabi is another one of the top F1 restaurants we imagine will be buzzing during the race weekend. There’s a massive outdoor terrace outside and a warehouse-like bar inside with loads of space and a massive sports screen. LSB’s food menu is pretty extensive too, serving American favourites such as burgers and sandos, ribs, lasagne and fried chicken.
