Abu Dhabi International Airport top for flyer satisfaction

Welcome win for travel industry

Airport bosses didn’t have too much to sing about in 2020, but they will be bellowing out renditions of ‘Championes, Championes’ tonight for sure.

That’s because Abu Dhabi International Airport has been recognised with an Airports Council International’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award.

Abu Dhabi was hailed ‘Best Airport’ in the 15-25 million passengers category, and earned top spot in the rankings thanks to passenger ratings of customer experience.

It’s another welcome boost for the travel industry and all us wunderlusters as the travel industry continues along the road to recovery.

Emirates even recently announced an offer for travellers to purchase up to three empty adjoining seats when flying with the airline.

It means health conscious flyers can have more leg room (and a bigger personal bubble) than ever before.
