If you’re looking for classic Irish pub in Abu Dhabi that’s inviting, unpretentious and serves tasty pie, look no further than PJ O’ Reilley’s at Le Royal Méridien. Slow cooked lamb, licensed meat, mashed potato and cheddar cheese? Sounds like the ideal shepherd’s pie. Don’t mind if pie do.

For a casual pub atmosphere and classic steak and hops pie, you should definitely hit up Coopers. Six-hours beef braised stew, veal bacon, hops gravy, and mashed potato makes for a great pie if you ask us.

If you’re dreaming of being transported to the UK in one bite, Porter’s English Pub in the Grand Millennium Al Wahda is no pie in the sky. Love steak pie? Then you should definitely check out the one at Porter’s pronto. Angus steak and mushroom in a traditional gravy served with chips and green beans? We’re getting hungry just thinking about it.

Wagyu pie with puff crust at Stills Restaurant and Bar
The longest bar in Abu Dhabi serves signature mixed drinks, good vibes, and a premier pie. Featuring 12-hour slow baked wagyu beef with hops gravy, onions, mushrooms, and green onion mash, this pie might be a little steeper in price than the others, but we think it’s worth it. We might be catching fillings for this pie.
