There’s a new restaurant open at Yas Marina and it looks beautiful.
Ishtar is all about Mediterranean and fusion cuisine, al fresco vibes and marina views. If you’re looking for the right place to kick back and enjoy some food and drink in the breeze, Ishtar certainly looks promising.
The restaurant is named after an ancient Mesopotamian figure associated with love and beauty – and you can see why. (Insta feed, here we come).
The restaurant draws on the cuisine of the Middle East with fine dining dishes inspired by the region’s street-food. We’re expecting to tuck into some seriously meaty grills, seafood barbeque, hummus and salad.
There is indoor and outdoor seating, views of Yas Marina Circuit, and places to watch the sun set on the outdoor terrace. Looking to be entertained? You can also catch belly-dancing performances and a live DJ.

Head to Ishtar from 4pm onwards and you’ll find a space inspired by Arabian culture, history and mythology. The lounge is open until 2am from Saturday to Wednesday and until 3am Thursday and Friday.
If you’re looking for more new openings on Yas Island, Yas Bay is finally open and there are so many new spots to choose from that you’d better hold onto your hat.
Asia Asia, Hunter and Barrel, Paradiso and Lock, Stock & Barrel were all part of the grand opening. Additionally, the world-famous Ibiza Beach Club, Café Del Mar, is open there, too.
